Funding Business Growth

Organiser: Humber LEP Growth Hub

Event Type: Information Session

funding business growth

Access to cash is often cited as the most significant barrier to business growth – but is it really that difficult?

With a wealth of investors now operating across the north, and a recent report showing the value of private equity investments into northern businesses outstripped those in London, the opportunity is very real for businesses to get their hands on that vital growth capital.

Alone, the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund has more than £400m to invest – through Microfinance, Debt Finance and Equity Finance, ranging from £25,000 to £2m.

At this business breakfast, brought together as part of the North Lincolnshire Ambassador programme and in partnership with the Humber LEP’s Growth Hub , Pepperells and the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, business owners/managers and professional advisors are invited to find out more about the funding options available.

We will hear from businesses which have taken investment from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund and the team leading the charge to make further investments across the wider Humber region.

  • Lord Chris Haskins, Chair, Humber LEP
  • Mark Wilcockson, Senior Relationship Manager, British Business Bank & Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund
  • Sam Latus, Director, Latus Training & Whey Box
  • Ash Lewis, Chief Executive, AshTV

Plus further presenters to be confirmed.

  • 8.00am – Registration
  • 8.30am – Panel Discussion
  • 9.30am – Close

Guests are invited to remain behind after the formal close for coffee and networking.

The Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund is supported financially by the European Union using funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020 and the European Investment Bank.
